“Yari Udon” is located on the 2nd floor of the bustling Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station Concourse, and is open from 7:30 AM on weekdays (8:30 on Sundays and holidays). During the 7:30~10:30 service they serve 3 types of breakfast items as well as warm udon and soba.

The “Morning Udon” set is a half serving of udon and a chicken rice ball. The warm dashi will warm you from the inside and gently wake you up. The noodles are served soft as is tradition in Hakata. It’s great for breakfast, especially after a night of drinking. “Morning Set A” is a traditional Japanese breakfast spread with rice, pickles, miso soup, nori, salmon, and natto (fermented soy beans)/egg. There’s also a “Morning Set B” if you want to skip the salmon all together.

Popular dishes like “Niku Udon (beef udon)” and “Gobo Tempura Udon” are available during breakfast too. And if you can’t pick between the two, there’s also the “Niku Gobo Udon”. The entire menu is available after breakfast service, at 10AM. Udon for breakfast might sound a little weird, but give it a chance! “Yari Udon” staff are dedicated to providing delicious food to busy people, both quickly and economically, all day every day.
