“Isagiyoshi” is a seafood izakaya (tapas restaurant) that is favored by many foodies in Fukuoka. Following Yakuin and Shimokawahata locations, this Tenjin location is right by Oyafukodori Street in North Tenjin.

Their menu boasts fresh seafood. Their “Special Sashimi Platter” is piled high with a variety of high-end fish and shellfish such as fatty tuna, uni, salmon roe, and abalone, and is a surprisingly good deal. The non-seafood items are gems too, each dish elaborately made in Isagiyoshi-style.

Out of the three “Isagiyoshi” locations Tenjin has the biggest capacity, and is also the sole location with private dining rooms and loft seating. Beneath the loft seating is a giant fish tank that’s only at the Tenjin location. Not only can this izakaya satisfy those with refined tastes, but you can also pop in freely,
