It is 234m. “Fukuoka Tower” is the tallest seaside tower in Japan. It is covered with 8000 sheets of half-mirror. Right triangle shaped and refined appearance is loved by people by the name of “mirror sail”.

“Fukuoka Tower” is located at the seaside of the western city center.

360 degrees panoramic view seen from the observatory located at the height of 123m is spectacular!

Bright blue sky and wide view of the ocean during the day is great, but twilight time when Hakata bay turns red is also great.

The night view seen from “Fukuoka Tower” is selected as “the best 100 nightscapes”.

“Fukuoka Tower” is recognized as “sacred place for lovers” among tourist area in Japan, which are romantic area suitable for proposing.

Sky lounge that reminds you of a hanging garden, “Refuge”, has glass windows so all seats are special seats. You can enjoy tea time with “berry cheese tart” (550 yen) and “coffee” (400 yen), or enjoy a meal with “Hakata mentaiko spaghetti” (800 yen) and “beef curry” (820 yen).

“Fukuoka Tower” is landmark of Fukuoka that gives color to the city. You can enjoy the normal illumination that brings out the beauty of the triangular form, as well as art illumination with seasonal design.

In the winter (from the end of November until December 25^th), a large Christmas tree with the height of 108m is displayed.

In the spring (mid-March to early April), cherry blossom illumination floats in the spring night sky. Cherry blossoms bloom early in the sky in Fukuoka to let us know that spring is coming.

In the summer (mid-June to July 7^th), the milky way is displayed in the night sky. If you are lucky, you may see a shooting star! Make a wish!

In the fall (mid to late September) let’s enjoy moon viewing with full moon in the night sky.
