【 “Tabito” is…】

Dazaifu tour train “Tabito” was started in 2014. In September 2017, it was renewed to a 5 cart train with 3000 type carts. The interior has designs that is said to “bring luck. It is a train “you can enjoy the time to travel to your destination”.

↑In the train, there is a explanation of Dazaifu’s tourist area in Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese (simplified or original character).

【Unique and fun interior and exterior】

In the first cart, “Kamado Shrine” known as a match-making god and fall leaves of Dazaifu is the motif.

The third card is themed with “Taikobashi” over Shinjiike pond in the ground and iris in the early summer.

The fourth car is themed with “Sugawarano Michizane” who is known as the god of learning and wisteria that blooms over Shobuike pond in the ground in the spring.

The fifth car is themed with “Dazaifu Tenmangu” and plum flowers blooming in early spring (winter). The interior is themed with “Umemonyou” that is said to bring blessing for studying.

In each cart, a lucky card that has the same theme as the interior is given. If you ride the card that will bring you luck to make your wish come true, get a lucky card. It will be a souvenir of riding the train.

You can wish good match making in the cart of “Tabito”.

In the third cart, there is a power spot area that collaborated with “Kamado Shrine” that is known as the god of match making. If you write your wish in the “wish paper” placed there and bring it to “Kamado Shrine”, you can get an original souvenir.

There is also “stamp for riding the train” in the third cart, so please stamp it to remember your trip.
