Kyushu has many hot spring even for Japan. At “Hakata Yufuin Takeko Onsen Manyo no Yu” has hot spring owned by the company in Yufuin (Oita) and Takeo (Saga) and spring water is delivered in tankers everyday. You can enjoy high quality natural hot spring water as well as the facility and spend all day here.

“Manyo no Yu” is located near Fukuoka Airport, but free shuttle bus is running from Tenjin (in front of Fukuoka city hall), Nakasu Kawabata (in front of Meijidori, Hakataza) and Hakata station (Chikushi exit) so it is very convenient. The open air bath is a salt spring with smooth texture of Fuyuin Onse, The indoor bath is alkaline simple spring of Takeo Onsen that surround your body gently. There is soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner as well as free rental of makeup remover, face towel, bath towel, shower cap, scrubber, yukata, face wash, face lotion, milky lotion, hair brush, and hair dryer so you can come here without bringing anything.

Bedrock bath is located on the third floor. The bedrock bath emits negatively charged ion and inferred ray so it will make you sweat and relaxe your body.

In the second floor restaurant “Manyoan” and free-rest area “Ikoidokoro”, you can eat the local cuisine “Hanamidori no Mizutaki” (1501 yen) and “Squid sashimi” (2765 yen) shipped straight from Naruko, Saga as well as many menus such as meals, noodles, food, drinks, and dessert.

After enjoying onsen and food, you can relax in private room (1 room for 2 people, 6156 yen per person) or free relaxing room with reclining chairs with TV. You can also receive aroma massage or have yoga lesson and other lessons at Hot Studio.

Also, there is a library with many comic books, karaoke rooms for 1 person or up to 13 people, game area, kids’ area, and table tennis area. “Manyo no yu” is open 24 hours a day so you can bath in onsen any time and spend the whole day with your family and children.
