Located inside the tourist spot Bayside Place, Hakata! A natural hot spring and low-temperature sauna you can enjoy in the city center.

"Hakata Futo" connects Iki, Tsushima, Goto (all in Nagasaki prefecture) as well as other Kyushu area and other parts of Japan with boat and municipal boat terminal is located.  As well as being a travel terminal, there is a commercial complex "Bayside Place Hakata" where an aquarium with 3000 fish in 30 types swim around, fish market, and restaurants are located. "Minato Onsen Namiha no Yu" is in that building. Located near "Hakata Port Tower" with the heigh of 100m and free observation floor at the height of 70m, this hot spring facility have 400 liter of hot water springing from 800m below ground every minute.


You can enjoy the hot spring water in the open-air bath.The spring quality is calcium and salt spring, effective for cuts, burns, chronic dkin disease, and chronic women's disease. The open-air bath is the direct flow of the onsen at lower temperature. Hot water heated up to 45 degrees and warm water is available so choose the tub to suite your preference. In "Shigarayu" you can enjoy the tub made with Shigarayaki ware all by yourself.


There is indoor bath, hot sauna, cold water bath in the main bathroom and you can bath any time while you are there. There is body soup, shampoo, conditioner, face lotion, and hair dryer available. Face towel is sold for 150 yen, and rental of bath towel and face towel is for 200 yen.



There are 5 private bathrooms with a lot of natural hot spring are available. It has private room with TV, air conditoner, and refridgerator so you can relax in privacy after taking a bath.


You can experience the authentic Jjimjilbang (low temperature Korean sauna) at bedrock bath,"Yakuseki Bikoubo". There are 7 types of medicinal sauna with temperaturer ranging from 15 to 90 degrees. Relaxation room with TV and relax char is also available.


Restaurant "Namiha no Karinko" has various menus such as noodles, bowls, meals, and set menu. Some menus are limited time only such as "Salted Sanma Meal" (850 yen) and "Sukiyaki Meal" (1180 yen) in the fall and winter. You can also use the restaurant without using the bath.


It is suprising that there is 400-liter hot spring springing every minute a location that is 10 minutes from Tenjin by bus. The access is great, so it is a onsen facility that we can stop by easily as a part of touring Tenjin.

For baths, 800 yen on week days, 850 yen for Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays for junior high school students or older, 450 yen for children 3 years or older to elementary school students, free for children 2 years or younger.
Bedrock bath (rental for towel set, bedrock mat, and sauna wear included): 1600 yen on weekends and 1700 yen for Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays for junior high school students or older. 1000 yen for elementary school students. ※The service is not available for Children younger than elementary school students.
Private baths (including towels and amenities, maximum number of people is 4): 3500 yen for 90 minutes per room on weekdays, 3500 yen for 60 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays)
