■Kyushu National Museum
Amazed by the building, moved by the exhibit. “Kyushu National Museum”



A lot of wood is used in this building giving a warm atmosphere. Lumber from thinning in Kyushu is used for this building.



When you go through the long escalator leading from Tenmangu and tunnel, you will be amazed by the curving form of the roof and the beauty of the glass wall reflecting the green of the trees. Information leaflet, explanation of the exhibit, and sound guide is available in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean.

●Admission: 430 yen for general, 130 yen for university students, students and people younger than 18 or older than 70 years old are free. (Please show us a document that prove your age.)

■ Dazaifu Amusement Park
Retro style amusement park surrounded by green nature “Dazaifu Yuenchi”




“Dazaifu Yuenchi” is a rare amusement that is located in the shrine (Dazaifu Tenmangu).

■ Kamado Shrine
Come to Kamado Shrine to pray for good match in your life!!




This shrine has been worshipped as a match making shrine for a long time. It is great not only for couples, but also bring good encounter with family, friends, jobs, and nature.

■ Kanzeonji Temple
“Kanzenonji Temple” is known for its oldest temple bell in Japan.



The auditorium and main hall built in early Edo period (cultural properties designated by the prefecture) is still standing. The oldest temple bell in Japan (National Treasure) located in the temple is very famous.

■Dazaifu Government Official Mark
“Dazaifu Government Official Mark” is where the center of Kyushu in Nara and Heian period was located.


“Dazaifu governmental building” was responsible for the government, economy, foreign policies, and military in Kyushu during Nara and Heian period.
