Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art
Collecting works by writers with connections with Fukuoka Prefecture such as Shigeru Aoki, Hanjiro Sakamoto, Yajūrō Takashima, and works closely associated with art trends in Fukuoka prefecture, this museum presents its findings from their research in forms of planned exibits and collection exhibits. In recent years, various workshops and events are available which both children and adults can enjoy. There also is an art library where visitors can browse through approximately 30,000 books on arts and latest magazines and more.
